1 MAGAZINE = 100 MILES

This print magazine is only the start of the journey. As we were working on this collection of stories, we wanted to find a way to more intimately connect with soccer communities across the country and capture stories from all over America with a greater impact on the ground.

So, we bought a vintage school shuttle and transformed it into a traveling soccer bus.

Now, we’ll be hitting the road to explore the American soccer landscape in a trip for the ages. Throughout our voyage, we’ll visit the most vibrant soccer communities in our nation, host memorable events, and tell more stories that uncover the unique, dedicated, and passionate cultures that make up the heart of American soccer.

Your purchase of this magazine will directly power our traveling soccer bus, helping us reach new destinations in every corner of the country and create a lasting impact in every community we visit.

WHAT'S INSIDE

  • Timothy Weah

We traveled to Italy to meet with one of the USMNT captains ahead of the 2026 World Cup. Sitting by a fire pit in the secluded hills of Turin, the Juventus star opened up about his unseen personal journey up until this crucial moment in history, the intricacies of building a lasting legacy, what he hopes this World Cup will do for the future of soccer in America, and much more.

  • Brianna Pinto

The NWSL player who helped bring the 2026 World Cup to North America. We ventured to Durham, North Carolina, to chat with Brianna about her pivotal bid-clinching speech at the 68th FIFA Congress in 2018, the lasting impact her local community has had on her career, and her tireless advocacy work to create a better future for players across all levels and types of soccer.

  • 12 Pentagons

Two “mad scientists” redefining what soccer balls can be. We visited Jon-Paul and Allison Wheatley’s studio in St. Louis, where they’ve created balls inspired by watermelons, some made out of mushroom fibers, others celebrating Tetris, and more. We got to the heart of their creative process and how they’ve turned their Wonka-esque approach to making balls into a viable business.

  • And More...

From meeting a USL record-breaking star at Churchill Downs to spotlighting a Utah Royals fan who travels eight hours across state lines to watch her team play, our journey to capture the true essence of soccer in America took us to unexpected destinations and introduced us to inspiring individuals embodying the best parts of our culture.
